Copy editing at Stand Corrected Editing involves correcting a range of errors and issues within your writing, such as your grammar, syntax, consistency, factual accuracy, spelling, punctuation and typos.
If your manuscript requires this service, I will go through your work from start to finish using my critical eye to spot mistakes before banishing them from your pride and joy.
I also add comments and suggestions throughout the margin of your work as well as providing a feedback report to highlight its strengths and weaknesses.
Copy editing is perfect for writers considering self-publication and also great for writers needing a polished manuscript ready for a literary agent's inbox!

Line editing is the most detailed type of editing, including the same service as copy editing but with the added extras. These extras involve reworking your clarity, tense, flow and writing style. If needed, your manuscript may also be rewritten in places or cut.
As with copy editing, I will add comments and suggestions throughout the margin of your work as well as providing a feedback report to highlight its strengths and weaknesses.
Line editing is ideal for writers looking to self-publish and is also beneficial for non-native speakers and people with learning differences, such as dyslexia.

Proofreading is the lightest type of editing, handling minimal errors regarding spelling, grammar, punctuation and typos.
As promised with both copy editing and line editing, I will add comments and suggestions throughout the margin of your work as well as providing a feedback report highlighting its strengths and weaknesses. However, if you have chosen the proofreading package, your work is probably close to submission standard, therefore, the feedback report may not be as lengthy.
When you have selected which type of editing your require, get in touch with this information plus your word count and an invoice with the relevant price will be emailed back to you. This must be paid and received before any editing takes place.
